Dynamics AX 2012 Customization Projects Readiness
With the expectation of the released 2012 in late 2011, we are inviting new customers, who are in need to customize AX with MorphX integrated development environment in X++. Special attention will be given to the customers with complex process manufacturing, supply chain management, project management needs. Our special strengths are in international business, where you have branches in such countries as China, Brazil, Russia, Continental Europe. We are also announcing our readiness to help you with the integration with such products as Microsoft CRM, data conversions and migrations from other Microsoft Dynamics products, such as Dynamics GP, SL, Small Business Financials
1. Brazilian Connection. Here we launched our Axapta operations in earlier 2005. Microsoft Business Solutions had it own decision making process trying to localized Great Plains (where we were in help), then Navision and finally it decided to market AX
2. Russian Connection. Here we were pioneering with Great Plains localization for the Russian market back in 1995, where we were exclusive reseller and had version 3.2 translated and localized. If you are expanding to Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Siberia, we are here to help you
3. Chinese Connection. Modern Dynamics AX supports Unicode characters (Chinese hieroglyphs). Chinese Corporate ERP market requires local involvements and being present in key cities
4. Dynamics AX in USA and Canada. Here we recommend you to deploy central SQL Server approach, where international subsidiaries are connected via Citrix or thin web client to their companies/databases. This approach should enable IT control over international operations and save the budget on global IT support
5. AX and Sure Step 2010. We do recommend you to select customization or reporting partner who is certified in Microsoft Sure Step 2010 (we are writing these lines in May of 2011 and we are referring to the current versions)
6. What if Axapta is too expensive to be implemented in your foreign facility, where you have only market research and surveillance? In this situation we recommend you to pick either small business oriented application, which is offered internationally (such as SAP Business One), or do your homework on researching local ERP offering. In Russian Federation local accounting of choice would be 1S Accounting (1S Bukhgalteria). In Brazil we recommend you to take a look at Microsiga
7. Local Support in USA. This where we are and where our market target is. By its nature Dynamics AX is tending to regional or even nationwide implementation scheme, where communication is partially via web sessions and phone conferences. Communication with your foreign subsidiaries and offices could be provided via Slype VOIP and Web Sessions (Gotomeeting, WebEx, GoToMyPC or similar)
8. Custom Programming in X++. We normally use the model, where project manager resides in your business metro and software development is outsourced to Software Development Factory
